About Me

Hi there! I'm Bronwyn, a full-stack web developer based in Sydney, Australia. I'm originally from Whangārei, New Zealand, where my passion for coding began at the ripe age of eight, and my career in web development launched at the age of eighteen.

My poison of choice for the majority of my career thus far has been PHP, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5 and MySQL, however recently I'm expanding to React, Next.JS, TypeScript and NodeJS as well, and really enjoying the flexibility. This is far from an exhaustive list of my skills however, as I am proficient in creating and integrating REST APIs, working with the Atlassian suite, and Git version control.

As a LAMP stack developer I have crafted countless brochure, ecommerce, learning platform and government entity software solutions.

Within my horizon is to continue honing my skills in React, TypeScript and NodeJS, as well as to achieve my AWS Cloud Practitioner certification, and then AWS Solutions Architect certification.

Outside of work you will find me working on my various side projects, spending time with my partner and two Chow Chows, learning languages, creative writing and gaming.
